Owls – Year 4

Welcome to Class Owls!

In Year 4, our fantastic staff team includes Mrs Rostron, the class teacher, and Mrs Kendall, our teaching assistant, who work closely together to ensure every child feels supported and challenged. We are excited to share all the fun and engaging learning experiences that take place throughout the year.

Class Owls is made up of children aged 8 and 9 years old, who are enthusiastic, curious, and eager to explore new topics. In Year 4, children continue to build on their Key Stage 2 learning with more independent work, problem-solving in maths, extended writing opportunities, and hands-on science investigations. Our curriculum also includes creative arts, computing, and a range of practical activities to make learning enjoyable and meaningful.

We aim to develop not only academic skills but also personal growth, including resilience, teamwork, and communication, ensuring that children are confident and ready for the challenges of Year 5.
