Welcome to Year 6! Our class team is led by Miss Milner, the class teacher, supported by Miss Vaughn and Mr Harding, who works with pupils daily in reading and maths to ensure every child makes strong progress. We are excited to share all the exciting and memorable learning experiences that take place throughout the year.
Class Foxes is made up of children aged 10 and 11 years old, who are curious, motivated, and ready to take on the challenges of their final year at primary school. In Year 6, the curriculum focuses on developing independence, critical thinking, and resilience, while consolidating key skills in reading, writing, and maths. Pupils also take part in a wide range of enrichment opportunities, collaborative projects, and creative activities, making learning both engaging and meaningful.
We aim to support children not only academically but also in their personal development, ensuring they leave primary school confident, capable, and prepared for the transition to secondary education.
