Welcome to our wonderful website! Thank you for taking the time to look.
Brockholes Wood Community Primary School is a wonderful place to be. As well as our children, our staff team is what makes our school unique, as they are incredibly nurturing, caring, supportive and enjoy every moment that is spent learning with the children. Achievement is key here, as we provide opportunities for every child to shine, in everything they do. I have worked as a Deputy Headteacher at Brockholes Wood for a few years and I now feel extremely privileged, to be taking up the role as the next Headteacher, to take our exceptional school on the next part of its journey.
We have high expectations of our children in both their behaviour and academically, but more importantly we understand that forming positive relationships with the children and our families, is the absolute foundation to success. Our children are at the heart of everything we do and we ensure that they feel happy, safe and secure, whilst having a great deal of fun! Pupil voice is an important aspect of school life and school improvement, and our well-established School Council help in some of our greatest decision making!
We are a one form entry school that has eight classes from Pre-school to Year 6. Our exceptional staff provide high quality, enriching learning experiences through a curriculum that is underpinned by a set of core values such as respect, honesty, kindness, determination and resilience. We promote a love for learning so that our children will become proud and resilient young people.
Visits are warmly encouraged so that you can feel our school’s amazing ethos for yourself. Our website is incredibly informative but if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call the School Office on 01772 792302 or email bursar@brockholeswood.lancs.sch.uk
Myself and the Brockholes Family look forward to meeting you.
