Welcome to Brockholes Wood Community Primary School & Nursery!

We are a friendly, warm and creative school and nursery on the outskirts of Preston. Our families work with us to provide a caring and nurturing environment in which all learners feel happy and secure. Our children and staff are amazing and together, we aim high and celebrate achievement both great and small. We value the uniqueness of our community and promote a love of life-long learning so that our children continue to develop into proud and resilient young people.

The classes are divided into smaller groups to enable high quality teaching and learning experiences and with our personalised curriculum, underpinned with a set of values for life and key learning skills such as ambition, collaboration and enquiry, ensure that every child reaches their full potential. Our children are at the centre of everything we do and their voice is an important part of school life and school improvement.

We are proud of our sporting success and provide a variety of after school sports clubs to promote a healthy lifestyle. Our football and netball teams have had their successes with some children being signed to the Preston North End Junior football team and Preston Harriers.

We welcome visitors and would be happy to show you round our wonderful school where you can find out more about our curriculum, our facilities, our extended provision and our ethos.
